New to Micro-Macramé Jewelry?
Micro-Macramé is a smaller and finer version of traditional macramé, a craft-form that has been around for centuries. It has been my passion for over 30 years and I love to teach and introduce new people to this satisfying craft.
Many of my projects are designed with the beginner in mind. My first book, Micro-Macramé Jewelry, Tips and Techniques for Knotting with Beads was written for those who are new to Micro-Macramé. It starts off with an introductory bookmark lesson that will get you acquainted with the techniques and follows with 14 great jewelry projects.
My Starter Kit includes everything you need to begin learning Micro-Macramé. It includes the book Micro-Macramé Jewelry, the Micro-Macramé board, Just the Knots online class, the April Bracelet kit for beginners complete with instructions, materials and an online video class, quilting pins, needles and practice cord.
For beginners on a budget, I recommend the Just the Knots Online Class as a less expensive alternative that will give you a good foundation in the essential knots.
I wish you happy knotting and all the best on your Micro-Macramé journey!
